About the Role

Sam’s Club is seeking Merchandise and Stocking Associates to support daily warehouse club operations. This role is essential for maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment for members. Associates play a key part in the logistics of the warehouse, ensuring that merchandise is available, properly displayed, and ready for purchase.

Day in the Life

As a Merchandise and Stocking Associate, your day involves a variety of physical and organizational tasks. You will be responsible for unloading deliveries and moving merchandise onto the sales floor. This includes stocking shelves and bulk displays, rotating inventory to ensure freshness, and organizing backroom inventory. You will also ensure that products are properly labeled and displayed according to company standards.

In addition to stocking duties, you may assist members with locating merchandise, helping to enhance their shopping experience. Maintaining store cleanliness and organization is a core part of the role, as is adhering to safety standards. Overnight shifts typically focus on stocking and preparing the store for opening, providing a different pace of work compared to day shifts.
