Day in the Life
As a Merchandise and Stocking Associate, your day typically involves a variety of tasks focused on inventory management and store maintenance. You will be responsible for unloading deliveries and moving merchandise onto the sales floor using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts. A significant portion of your time will be spent stocking shelves and bulk displays, rotating inventory to ensure freshness, and organizing backroom storage areas.
Beyond stocking, you may assist members by locating merchandise and helping maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store. Overnight shifts, which typically focus on preparing the store for opening, offer a different pace of work centered on restocking and setup. This role requires maintaining strict safety standards while ensuring products are properly labeled and displayed for customer convenience.
