About the Role
Sam’s Club is seeking Merchandise and Stocking Associates to support daily warehouse club operations. This role is essential for maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment for our members. Associates play a key part in the logistics of the warehouse, ensuring that merchandise is available, properly displayed, and ready for purchase.
Day in the Life
As a Merchandise and Stocking Associate, your day involves a variety of physical and organizational tasks. You will be responsible for unloading deliveries and moving merchandise onto the sales floor. This includes stocking shelves and bulk displays, rotating inventory to ensure freshness, and organizing backroom inventory. You will also assist members by locating merchandise and help maintain store cleanliness and organization standards.
The role requires moving pallets using pallet jacks or forklifts and setting up promotional displays. Overnight shifts typically focus on stocking and preparing the store for opening, ensuring the warehouse is ready for the next day's business. You will also ensure products are properly labeled and displayed, and that safety standards are maintained throughout the store.
