About the Role
Sam’s Club is seeking Merchandise and Stocking Associates to support daily warehouse club operations. This role is essential for maintaining a well-stocked, organized, and safe shopping environment for our members. Associates play a key part in the behind-the-scenes logistics that keep the store running smoothly, from receiving deliveries to ensuring products are properly displayed on the sales floor.
Day in the Life
As a Merchandise and Stocking Associate, your day involves a variety of physical and organizational tasks. You will be responsible for unloading trucks and moving pallets using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts. A significant portion of your time will be spent moving merchandise onto the sales floor, stocking shelves and bulk displays, and rotating inventory to ensure freshness and availability. You will also organize backroom inventory, label merchandise, and set up promotional displays.
Beyond stocking, you may assist members with locating merchandise and help maintain overall store cleanliness and organization. Overnight shifts typically focus on these stocking and preparation activities to ensure the store is ready for opening the next day. This position requires adherence to store organization and safety standards at all times.
