About the Role

Sam’s Club is seeking Merchandise and Stocking Associates to support its daily warehouse club operations by hiring Merchandise and Stocking Associates. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency and organization of the warehouse environment, ensuring that members have access to well-stocked, properly labeled, and safely displayed merchandise.

Day in the Life

As a Merchandise and Stocking Associate, you will play a hands-on role in the flow of goods from delivery to the sales floor. Your day typically involves unloading trucks and moving pallets using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts. You will be responsible for stocking shelves and bulk displays, rotating inventory to ensure they are fully stocked and visually appealing. A key part of the role involves organizing backroom inventory and ensuring all products are properly labeled and displayed according to standards.

Beyond stocking duties, you will assist members by helping them locate merchandise, contributing to a positive shopping experience. You will also help maintain store cleanliness and organization, safety standards, and set up promotional displays. Overnight shifts, which typically focus on stocking and preparing the store for opening, will require you to work in a different rhythm to ensure the store is ready for the next day's operations.
