About the Role

Sam’s Club is seeking Merchandise and Stocking Associates to play a vital role in supporting daily warehouse club operations. This position is essential for ensuring that our members have access to well-stocked, organized, and properly labeled merchandise. Associates serve as the backbone of the store's inventory management, working both on the sales floor and in the backroom to maintain high standards of organization and safety.

Day in the Life

As a Merchandise and Stocking Associate, your day involves a variety of physical and organizational tasks. You will be responsible for unloading deliveries and moving merchandise onto the sales floor using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts. A significant portion of your time will be spent stocking shelves and bulk displays, rotating inventory to ensure freshness, and organizing backroom inventory.

Beyond stocking, you will help maintain store cleanliness and organization, set up promotional displays, and ensure products are properly labeled. You may also assist members with locating merchandise, providing a friendly and helpful presence to enhance the shopping experience. Overnight shifts typically focus on stocking and preparing the store for opening, ensuring everything is ready for the next day's business.
