Sam’s Club is seeking Merchandise and Stocking Associates to support daily warehouse club operations. This role is essential for maintaining an organized, safe, and well-stocked environment for members. Associates play a key part in the logistics of the warehouse, ensuring that products are available, properly displayed, and ready for purchase.
Day in the Life
As a Merchandise and Stocking Associate, your day typically involves unloading deliveries and moving merchandise onto the sales floor. You will be responsible for stocking shelves and bulk displays, rotating inventory to ensure freshness, and organizing backroom inventory. The role also includes labeling merchandise and setting up promotional displays to enhance the shopping experience.
In addition to stocking duties, you may assist members with locating merchandise and help maintain store cleanliness and organization. Overnight shifts typically focus on stocking and preparing the store for opening, ensuring the warehouse is ready for the next day's business. You will use equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts to move pallets and maintain safety standards throughout the process.
