About the Role
Sam’s Club is seeking Merchandise and Stocking Associates to support daily warehouse club operations. This role is essential for maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment for our members. Associates play a key part in the logistics of the warehouse, ensuring that merchandise is available, properly displayed, and ready for purchase.
Day in the Life
As a Merchandise and Stocking Associate, you will be responsible for the physical flow of goods within the club. Your day typically involves unloading delivery trucks and moving pallets using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts. You will move merchandise from the backroom to the sales floor, stocking shelves and bulk displays while rotating inventory to ensure freshness and accuracy.
Beyond stocking, you will help maintain store cleanliness and organization standards. This includes labeling merchandise, setting up promotional displays, and organizing backroom inventory. You may also assist members by locating merchandise and answering questions, contributing to a positive member experience. Overnight shifts focus heavily on stocking and preparing the store for opening the next day.
