Member Frontline Cashier

About the Role

Sam’s Club is seeking Member Frontline Cashiers to serve as the welcoming face of our membership experience. This role is essential to ensuring members have a smooth, friendly, and efficient shopping journey from the moment they enter the store. As a Frontline Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while managing the front-end operations that keep our checkout areas running seamlessly.

Day in the Life

In this position, you will assist members with their purchases by operating registers, scanning merchandise, and processing cash and card payments accurately. A key part of your day involves verifying memberships and answering member questions, ensuring that every interaction reflects our commitment to service. You will also handle returns when needed and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area.

Beyond the traditional register, you may assist with self-checkout stations, helping members navigate technology and resolve issues. You might also support members with large purchases, ensuring they have a positive experience regardless of the size of their order. Throughout the day, you will follow Sam’s Club customer service policies, cash handling procedures, and front-end operational guidelines to maintain high standards of efficiency and safety.
