About the Role
Sam’s Club is seeking Member Frontline Cashiers to serve as the welcoming face of our membership warehouse. This role is essential to ensuring a positive and efficient shopping experience for our members, from the moment they enter the front end to the completion of their purchase. As a Frontline Cashier, you will be responsible for providing friendly, helpful customer service while maintaining the operational standards that define the Sam’s Club brand.
Day in the Life
In this position, you will assist members with their purchases by operating registers, scanning merchandise, and processing cash and card payments accurately and quickly. A key part of your role involves verifying memberships and assisting members with questions about products, services, or store policies. You will also handle returns when needed and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area.
Additionally, you may assist members with self-checkout stations and provide support for large purchases, ensuring that every member leaves satisfied. You are expected to follow Sam’s Club customer service policies, cash handling procedures, and front-end operational guidelines to ensure consistency and security in all transactions.
