About the Role
Sam’s Club is seeking Member Frontline Cashiers to provide a welcoming environment for members by hiring dedicated Member Frontline Cashiers. This role is essential to the front-end operations, ensuring that members receive friendly, efficient, and accurate service during their shopping experience. The position exists to facilitate smooth transactions, maintain store organization, and support members with various needs, from self-checkout assistance to handling large purchases.
Day in the Life
As a Frontline Cashier, you will be the face of Sam’s Club, interacting with members daily. Your day involves scanning merchandise quickly and accurately, processing cash and card payments, and card payments, and verifying memberships. You will assist members with questions, handle returns when necessary, and maintain a clean and organized checkout area. Additionally, you may assist with self-checkout stations and help members with large purchases, out stations and provide support for members with larger items. Throughout the day, you will adhere to Sam’s Club customer service policies, cash handling procedures, and front-end operational guidelines to end organizational standards to ensure a positive member experience.
