Concord Hospital's Payson Center for Cancer Care is seeking two exceptional board-certified or board-eligible Medical Oncologists to play a pivotal role in developing a new medical oncology practice in Laconia, New Hampshire. This is a rare opportunity to help shape the future of cancer care in a community with a significant and increasing need for oncology services.
The Payson Center for Cancer Care is proudly accredited by the American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer (CoC) as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Center. Our program delivers fully integrated, multidisciplinary cancer care, bringing together medical, radiation, and surgical oncology alongside oncology-trained nurse navigators, social workers, and nutritionists. This ensures patients receive seamless, compassionate, and cutting-edge treatment close to home.
About the Role
In this position, you will collaborate clinically with closely-aligned independent community partners in Medical and Radiation Oncology, as well as Concord Hospital Medical Group surgical specialists to provide state-of-the-art oncology care in Central New Hampshire. You will join a highly engaged multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based, patient-centered cancer care, actively participating in weekly multidisciplinary tumor boards and Cancer Committee initiatives.\n You will have the opportunity to help develop a busy, high-impact practice with the full support of an award-winning hospital system and collaborative leadership team. The Payson Center benefits from a robust referral network of 600 employed providers, including 141 primary care providers systemwide, ensuring a strong and sustainable patient base.
