About the Role
As a Medical Assistant at our Ironwood clinic, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring an efficient flow of patients for our clinicians. Your day will involve a dynamic blend of direct patient care and administrative coordination. You will work in conjunction with physicians and the entire clinic staff to collect vital signs, obtain medical histories, and assist with minor diagnostic procedures and treatments.
Beyond clinical duties, you will manage the logistical side of patient care by scheduling testing procedures, ensuring all test results and reports are accurately scanned into the patient chart prior to appointments, and authorizing pharmacy refills. You will also play a key role in maintaining a safe environment by sterilizing instruments, preparing examination rooms, and managing supply inventory. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and values the connection between technical precision and compassionate patient interaction.
