About the Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Medical Assistant for an immediate 3+ month contract position with long-term potential. This onsite role is based in Cincinnati, OH, within a leading healthcare industry organization. The position offers a competitive pay range of $20 - $24/hour and includes benefits such as health insurance (medical, dental, vision), a 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave.

About the Role

In this dynamic environment, you will be the backbone of patient flow during clinic hours. Your day will involve documenting reviews of systems, measuring vital signs, and updating comprehensive medical histories. You will ensure the electronic medical record (EMR) is accurate by scanning, abstracting, and reviewing diagnostic results and hospital reports. As a potential Super User for the EMR, you may assist in training new employees and managing work queues.

Your clinical duties will include operating EKGs and cardiac monitors, administering vaccinations, performing phlebotomy, and handling cast removals. You will also manage medication refills, pre-authorizations, and the disposal of expired medications. Beyond clinical tasks, you will coordinate patient assistance paperwork, return calls, respond to MyChart inquiries, and maintain safe, secure, and healthy exam rooms.
