Job Description

About the Role

The Inline Group is seeking a Med-Ped Physician to join their team in Massachusetts. This position offers a flexible work environment with full-time and part-time opportunities, allowing providers to choose between 6, 10, and 12-hour shifts. The role is designed for physicians who wish to work in Urgent Care primarily, rather than using it as a secondary option or a trial period before moving to a Hospitalist position.

Day in the Life

As a Med-Ped Physician, you will see an average of 4+ patients per hour, managing a high-volume urgent care setting. The role requires confidence and comfort in completing 30-40 patient notes per day. You will work with patients of all ages, ensuring comprehensive care across the lifespan. The schedule is published in four-month blocks three times per year, allowing for advance planning. Time off requests are submitted in advance, and shift trades can be made after the schedule is published if needed. Every provider works their proportional fair share of weekends and holidays, with full-time providers working every other full weekend (Saturday/Sunday). There is no call requirement for this position.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with current US work visa status. Ideal candidates have at least one year of experience, though this is not mandatory. New graduates are welcome to apply, provided they meet the licensing and certification requirements. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong desire to work in Urgent Care and is committed to the specialty. Candidates with skill gaps or those who have practiced in a specialty other than Urgent Care may be required to complete an Urgent Care Boot Camp prior to employment. Full-time providers can use their CME stipend to purchase this boot camp at any time. The application profile should include any skills gaps and the steps taken for self-study to close them, as well as an explanation for any gaps in employment or long gaps between graduation and certification/licensure for new graduates.

Technology and Support

Providers will utilize DocuTAP EMR. EMR and DOT Certification training are offered to support your workflow. For those who need additional preparation, an Urgent Care Boot Camp is available to address skill gaps or provide specialized training for new graduates or those transitioning from other specialties.

Benefits and Compensation

This employed position offers earning potential up to $350K, with a salary plus bonus opportunities. Benefits include a 401k with a 4% match, medical insurance, short and long-term disability, and life insurance. Providers receive CME time and an allowance, along with 5 weeks of PTO. Relocation assistance is offered on a case-by-case basis.

Application Instructions

To apply, candidates must be fully licensed in MA, hold a DEA and MCSR license in MA (or be in progress), and be ACLS/PALS certified (or willing to obtain certification prior to starting). Please ensure your application profile highlights your commitment to Urgent Care and addresses any relevant experience or gaps as described above.
