About the Role
We are looking to hire an experienced Mechanical Engineer at our Decatur, AL location. In this role, you will apply your expertise to support the standard design, development, testing, and modification of solutions for the metals industry. You will conduct testing of new designs and build prototype bearings, utilizing multiple sensors and associated data acquisition equipment to gather critical performance data.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include preparing detailed 3D engineering models and 2D CAD drawings, creating bills of materials, and recommending new designs, processes, or design changes to meet specific requirements. This position offers a dynamic environment where duties are performed both in-house and on location at customer sites, requiring you to work at ground level and at heights.
