About the Role

The Level B Fleet Mechanic/Technician serves as a journeyman-level expert within our maintenance operations. This role is critical for maintaining the high uptime and DOT compliance of our refuse trucks, heavy tractors, trailers, and heavy equipment. As a key member of the team, you will independently diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, ensuring our fleet remains operational in the demanding urban environments of the tri-state area.

Beyond technical repairs, this position plays a vital leadership role by mentoring Level C technicians. You will guide junior staff on best practices, safety protocols, and troubleshooting methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill development. Your work ensures that our vehicles are not only safe and compliant but also ready to serve our customers efficiently.
