About the Team
Allegheny Health Network's (AHN) Women's Institute is recruiting a full-time Maternal and Fetal Medicine Physician to join our expanding team centered in Pittsburgh, PA. We are a department supportive of physicians developing their own clinical interests, offering the flexibility to build new programs. As a blended healthcare organization, AHN has provided exceptional healthcare for over a century. We are forging innovative solutions and key partnerships to transform the patient health experience, supported by 14 hospitals, over 250 healthcare facilities, and 3,000+ physicians.
About the Role
You will provide full-scope consultative clinical care within a robust Maternal Fetal Medicine Program. This role offers the opportunity for research collaborations with Johns Hopkins and Drexel, with availability for academic appointments, and includes active participation in resident education.
The program features a comprehensive ecosystem of care, including robust genetic counseling services, a Diabetes in Pregnancy Program, and a dedicated Palliative Care Program. You will work within joint programs with the Women's Cardiology Group and the Women's Behavioral Health Program, which includes the Alexis Joy D'Achille's Center for Perinatal Mental Health and Trauma Informed Care consultation. The health system also supports Reproductive Endocrinology, Gynecology Oncology, and Family Planning, backed by two Level III and two Level II neonatal ICUs.
