About the Women's Institute
Allegheny Health Network's (AHN) Women's Institute is recruiting a full-time Maternal and Fetal Medicine Physician to join our expanding team centered in Pittsburgh, PA. We are a department supportive of physicians developing their own clinical interests, offering the flexibility to build new programs. As part of a blended healthcare organization providing exceptional care for over a century, we are forging innovative solutions and key partnerships to transform the patient health experience.
Our Maternal Fetal Medicine Program highlights include robust genetic counseling services, a Diabetes in Pregnancy Program, and a dedicated Palliative Care Program. We offer joint programs with the Women's Cardiology Group and the Women's Behavioral Health Program, which includes the Alexis Joy D'Achille's Center for Perinatal Mental Health and Trauma Informed Care consultation. The program also features a Screening Fetal Echocardiogram Program and provides dedicated support for Reproductive Endocrinology, Gynecology Oncology, and Family Planning. The health system supports this work with two Level III and two Level II neonatal ICUs.
About the Role
This position offers a full scope of consultative clinical care. You will have the opportunity for research collaborations with Johns Hopkins and Drexel, with availability for academic appointments, and will actively participate in resident education. Qualified candidates in the third year of a maternal fetal medicine fellowship may be eligible for a monthly stipend up to twelve months prior to their determined start date.
