The Manager of Information Services serves as a strategic leader within CHRISTUS Health, responsible for the implementation, support, lifecycle management, and overarching strategy for content within designated programs. This role exists to bridge the gap between complex healthcare operations and technology solutions, ensuring that critical systems are designed, developed, and deployed effectively.
In this position, you will guide the design and deployment of application services while driving continual process improvements. You will apply strong knowledge of healthcare operations and emerging technology trends to incorporate innovation in a practical, cost-effective manner. The role requires navigating a dynamic, matrixed organization to manage multiple complex projects and ensure all areas of responsibility remain within scope.
Your day will involve leading a team of Information Services associates, providing mentorship, coaching, and performance management. You will balance a full workload across multiple projects while managing resource utilization and prioritization. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to recruiting, onboarding, and developing direct reports, as well as managing their time, attendance, and payroll.
You will act as a key liaison, reporting day-to-day operations to the System Director to support efficient planning. Success in this role demands a collaborative approach to problem-solving, utilizing strong communication skills to work across a diverse, geographically dispersed organization. While the standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, the role may require flexibility, including travel, extended hours during critical implementations, or work outside normal hours to address urgent issues.
