Key Responsibilities
- check_circleLead diagnosis and repair of complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues
- check_circlePerform major component rebuilds, overhauls, and precision alignment on critical processing equipment
- check_circleTroubleshoot chronic failures and support root-cause analysis efforts
- check_circleServe as technical lead on shift and mentor Level B and C mechanics
- check_circleVerify quality of repairs, preventive maintenance execution, and documentation
- check_circleIdentify and eliminate repeat failures impacting uptime and throughput
- check_circlePlan daily plant maintenance workload and allocate jobs according to technician skill level
- check_circleAssist in specifying parts, evaluating repair options, and supporting warranty recovery efforts
- check_circleExecute and refine preventive maintenance tasks while recommending procedure changes
- check_circleSupport audits, safety inspections, and external regulatory reviews as the plant's technical representative
Requirements
- verifiedHigh school diploma or GED
- verified5+ years of industrial, fleet, or processing maintenance experience
- verifiedStrong welding and fabrication capability
Nice to Have
Experience as a senior technician or millwright in recycling, industrial maintenance, manufacturing, processing, aggregate, or material-handling environments. OEM training on balers, conveyors, or processing systems. Leadership or lead-technician experience.
