Maintenance Assistant

About the Role

The Maintenance Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the community remains a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all residents. This position goes beyond simple repairs; it involves a hands-on approach to maintaining the property's interior and exterior, servicing equipment, and preparing apartments for new residents. The role is designed for individuals who thrive on variety and take pride in being the go-to person for fixing issues and supporting the community's daily operations.

As a non-exempt, part-time hourly team member, you will report directly to the Maintenance Director. Your day will be filled with a dynamic mix of tasks, from fixing faucets and replacing light fixtures to implementing safety protocols and painting. You will be the first point of contact for maintenance requests from both residents and fellow associates, ensuring prompt and professional responses. Additionally, you will help set up activities and events, contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of the community.
