About the Role
This position is responsible for caring for endoscopy patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse during pre-op, procedure, and recovery phases. You will perform and assist physicians during endoscopy procedures, manage high-level disinfection practices in the Scope Room, anticipate physician needs, and assist with endoscopy devices and endoscopes before, during, and after procedures.
You will have the opportunity to rotate between our inpatient endoscopy department (Outpatient Diagnostics) and Mercy's new outpatient digestive health institute, the Kathryn Ann Meinders Institute.
Location and Schedule
Location: Mercy Hospital - Oklahoma City (W Memorial Rd) Shift: Part Time, PRN (as needed). No call requirement.
