About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and flexible Locum Veterinarian to provide temporary medical care at various partner locations. This role is ideal for veterinary professionals who desire flexibility and the opportunity to make a significant impact in diverse environments. As a Locum Veterinarian, you will showcase your extensive skills across different settings, adapting quickly to new operational procedures while supporting a variety of veterinary health teams.
In this position, you will provide comprehensive veterinary care, including diagnosis, treatment, and surgery, strictly adhering to the standards set by each practice. You will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of care by keeping comprehensive medical records and communicating effectively with regular staff. Additionally, you will participate in the ongoing assessment and management of veterinary health programs at partner clinics and educate pet owners about preventive health care, conditions, and treatment options.
Hiring Process
Candidates with a valid veterinary license in the applicable state (or the ability to obtain one) are encouraged to apply. While specialization in areas such as surgery, emergency care, or cardiology is preferred, it is not required. We look for professionals who can make independent decisions in high-pressure situations and possess excellent interpersonal skills for effective client consultations and team interactions.
