Locum Tenens Psychiatrist

This assignment offers a unique opportunity to join a facility during the launch of a new adolescent unit. You will provide inpatient care for patients aged 12-17, managing a daily census of 10-12 patients. The role includes inpatient duties as well as consults for the Emergency Department and Med-Surg units. Midlevel providers will take primary call responsibilities with psychiatrist backup available.

We offer a 7 days on/7 days off schedule with shifts running from 8 am to 5 pm, including a one-hour unpaid lunch. This is an ongoing coverage position until a permanent provider is found. Assignment details and time entry are managed through our online portal, and you will have 24-hour access to your dedicated Weatherby Healthcare consultant.
