The facility operates 36 beds dedicated to comprehensive crisis services, including detox protocol management and interdisciplinary care coordination. It serves as a critical hub for adults requiring immediate psychiatric support, utilizing a centralized facility DEA and pharmacy process to streamline operations and eliminate the need for individual DEA requirements for the clinician.

The Role and Day-to-Day

As a psychiatrist, you will provide comprehensive care during day shifts with negotiable call requirements. Your responsibilities will include serving as a clinical leader, offering consultation and support to crisis center staff and APRNs, and overseeing medical staff scheduling, coverage, and hiring. You will also review referrals to support the admissions process and participate in teaching and training activities with medical students and APRNs. The role focuses on managing acute psychiatric crises, including detox protocols, within a supportive team environment.
