About the Role
Join our Avon Rail Operations Team as a Locomotive Driver on a full-time permanent residential basis. This role is open to applicants residing in Northam or those willing to relocate permanently. You will operate locomotives across mainline, shunting, and marshalling duties, ensuring trains are examined and certified ready for departure. Your work will directly support Aurizon's business objectives by maintaining a high level of on-time running and delivering quality customer service.
This position requires a high level of safety awareness, flexibility, and teamwork. You will work in accordance with Aurizon's safety and operational standards, preparing and conducting brake tests while adhering to the company's Safety Strategy: "I Know Safe, I Choose Safe."
