Ready to put your truck-driving career in high gear? As a Class A CDL Truck Driver for Penske, you join a team of professionals committed to delivering products safely and on time. You will represent not just Penske, but also your clients, often driving their branded trucks and wearing their uniforms.
In this role, you will travel regionally to work at various locations, performing multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. Your day involves unloading trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, as well as scanning products as they are delivered. You will drive late-model, Penske-maintained trucks equipped with best-in-class specs for comfort and safety, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras.
This position requires you to be away from home for 2 to 3 weeks per assignment. Dispatch times vary depending on your work assignment, and you will travel to an assigned location to work for the duration of that assignment. With locations across the nation, this role offers the opportunity to move to a new city as your career progresses.
Beyond the equipment, Penske is known for great management, clear communication, and a fantastic safety record. We offer tons of training opportunities and pay every Friday. Whether you are looking to build relationships with your accounts or simply want to be part of a stable, nationwide company, Penske is more than just yellow trucks—it is about incredible customer service and fueling your career.
To join the team, you must complete the Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and undergo a drug screening. This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and designated as safety-sensitive, requiring the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Penske is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
