About the Role
WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse for a local contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Rochester, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to join a top-tier clinical team while advancing your career in a fast-paced acute care environment.
In this role, you will serve as a vital member of an interdisciplinary team, ensuring safe and high-quality patient care. You will administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and educate patients on surgical procedures and post-operative expectations. The position requires operating specialized patient-care equipment, interpreting electronic data, and collaborating closely with colleagues to manage complex orthopedic and trauma cases. This is a 13-week local contract role requiring 36 hours per week on a 3x12 rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays.
