Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePrepare and execute predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime
- check_circleDirect the planning, scheduling, and management of all maintenance department activities
- check_circleLead personnel development, performance management, and labor relations in accordance with the CBA
- check_circleManage the maintenance budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control
- check_circleEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory regulations and industry standards
- check_circleDevelop a multi-skilled team through mentoring, coaching, and effective communication
- check_circleCoordinate planning meetings with operations and engineering to ensure reliable terminal availability
- check_circleReview and approve design and future maintenance proposals for engineering and construction projects
- check_circleDrive continuous improvement of maintenance work practices to reduce backlog and enhance productivity
- check_circleEngage in terminal compliance audits, incident investigations, and review of working practices
Requirements
- verifiedBS in engineering with minimum 10 years professional experience OR Associates Degree with 10 years experience with 5 at supervisory level OR H.S. Diploma with 12 years experience with 5 at supervisory level
- verifiedMinimum 8 years power plant (or related) experience
- verifiedMinimum of 5 years supervisory/managerial experience
- verifiedAbility to acquire applicable State License
- verifiedExperience in Engineering, Maintenance, or Work Management
- verifiedExperience as Operator, Foreman, or Shift Manager
- verifiedProfessional Certification or Recognition
- verifiedDemonstrated technical knowledge of LNG or Power plant operations
- verifiedKnowledge of State, Local and Federal environment regulations
- verifiedHigh level knowledge of rotating and operating equipment, pumps, generators, compressors, tanks, vaporizers/heat exchangers, electrical switchgear, motor control centers, VFDs, actuated valves, transmitters, PLC and DCS systems
- verifiedStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
Nice to Have
Master's Degree in engineering, business, or related field. Multi-site experience. Staff Maintenance, Operations, or Engineering experience. Collective bargaining experience. FLS experience. Previous experience leading a Maintenance team. LNG and Cryogenic experience. Knowledge of LNG specific codes and standards.
