About the Role
Encompass Health is seeking a Licensed Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care within our inpatient rehabilitation hospital. This role exists to support patients through their recovery journey by assessing complex needs and developing individualized care plans. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, therapists, and case managers to ensure high-quality, patient-centered outcomes.
In this position, you will be the cornerstone of the patient experience, administering medications, managing wound care, and providing mobility support. Your day will involve monitoring patient progress, documenting accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR), and educating patients and families on conditions and discharge plans. You will also have the opportunity to precept new staff, fostering a positive team culture focused on professional growth and dynamic collaboration.
