About the Role

As a Licensed Practical Nurse on the Ortho/Spine team, you will play a vital role in supporting, implementing, and monitoring nursing care in a timely and accurate manner. This full-time night shift position offers the opportunity to work within a medical/surgical unit serving a diverse patient population ranging from infants to seniors. You will function both independently and as part of a collaborative team, applying basic nursing knowledge to a variety of settings while managing the unique needs of orthopaedic and spine patients.

Your day will involve collecting comprehensive patient data upon admission, revising individual care plans, and assisting with patient education regarding discharge and post-discharge needs. You will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions, evaluating responses to treatment, and modifying care plans as necessary. In this role, you will maintain a healing and therapeutic environment, ensuring that all treatments, procedures, and equipment are handled safely and in accordance with hospital policies. Your work will directly contribute to the safety, cleanliness, and orderliness of the unit, reflecting the professionalism we place on our patients and coworkers.
