This position serves as a vital bridge between library resources and the campus community, coordinating electronic resources and cataloging while delivering dynamic instruction. The role is designed to ensure reliable access to online library information and to support the academic success of students and faculty through both in-person and virtual engagement.
As an embedded librarian, you will work directly with faculty to incorporate Open Educational Resources (OERs) into their courses and serve as a key partner in planning library initiatives. Your day-to-day involves managing LibGuides and other library technologies, cataloging materials for circulation, and providing expert reference and research assistance. Whether leading instruction sessions in the classroom or on Zoom, you will help users navigate the library's vast digital and physical collections.
