About the Role
L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Planning & Scheduling professional to provide critical surge support to Tier One Programs. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert for Cost and Schedule Integration and Earned Value Management, ensuring that major projects and program schedules are seamlessly integrated across all company functional groups, including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.
You will be instrumental in refining the company's Program Planning and Scheduling processes for standardization and enterprise-wide resource management. Your day-to-day involves managing complex program schedules, performing risk analysis, and resolving critical path and network logic conflicts. You will utilize advanced project management techniques—such as Gantt charts, Critical Path, Driving Path, and Monte Carlo Risk Analysis—to gauge progress and facilitate targeted interventions on critical areas.
Beyond execution, this position requires you to lead or participate in scheduling status reviews and brief senior leaders on matters of importance. You will also provide guidance, coaching, and training to planning and scheduling employees, helping to develop new concepts, standards, and measurable improvements to systems and processes that enhance overall job area performance.

Experience with subcontractor schedule integration. Experience working on DoD projects in a Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) environment. Experience leading planning and scheduling efforts for large, high visibility Government projects. Experience with Project Server. Structured Solutions - SSI tools management. Program Management and Coordination experience, SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) process. Experience with Monte Carlos Risk Analysis (Schedule Risk Analysis). Working knowledge of Space and Airborne Systems programs.
