About the Role

The Lead DB Engineer serves as a technical leader for the Enterprise Data Base (EDB), ensuring secure, accurate, and high-performance data operations that support eligibility, enrollment, and downstream system integrations. This role provides strategic guidance across Oracle-based platforms, driving database architecture decisions, performance tuning, and data quality practices to support mission-critical workloads.

In this position, you will lead the design and evolution of Oracle database schemas and data models, defining architecture standards to support scalability and data integrity. You will establish best practices for reusable, maintainable, and performant database code while overseeing ETL and ELT data transformation processes. Beyond technical execution, you will provide mentorship to database engineers and SQL developers, collaborating with application engineers and stakeholders to align database solutions with system needs. The role requires a commitment to maintaining comprehensive documentation and continuously improving database performance and operational efficiency.
