About the Team
Engineering Technical Services (ETS) within the Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University is dedicated to establishing a sustainable institutional technological infrastructure. The team is currently driving a strategic transition from traditional operations to an automation-first, engineering-driven model, focusing on scalable systems and modern cloud practices.
About the Role
The Lead Application Systems Analyst serves as a hands-on technical leader providing direction for FSE enterprise infrastructure and platform engineering. This position is designed for an individual who thrives in building scalable systems and driving automation. You will lead a team responsible for backend infrastructure across both on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring reliable, scalable, and secure operations.
In this role, you will combine technical leadership with people management to modernize infrastructure through DevOps and cloud-first practices. Key focus areas include Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, Power Platform automation, and ServiceNow event-driven integrations. Beyond daily operations, you will conduct non-routine system analysis, contribute to strategy development, and provide training to foster continuous improvement.
