Strong communities don't just happen; they are thoughtfully planned and future-ready. At Stantec, we bring life to urban downtowns, suburban hubs, small towns, and rural areas through master-planned communities, mixed-use developments, infrastructure projects, parks, and recreation facilities. Our goal is to create vibrant economic centers, resilient neighborhoods, and welcoming places that feel like home.
As a global leader in sustainable engineering, architecture, and environmental consulting, we leverage the diverse perspectives of our partners to think beyond what's previously been done. We innovate at the intersection of community, creativity, and client relationships to advance communities everywhere, tackling critical issues like climate change, digital transformation, and future-proofing our cities and infrastructure.
We are looking for a professional and self-motivated Landscape Designer/Architect to join our team. This role exists to empower communities by making them more equitable, resilient, and livable. You will work under the guidance of our Landscape Architecture team members to prepare construction documents, conduct site visits and observation reports, sketch, and produce CAD and computer graphics.
Your day-to-day will involve preparing presentation graphics, reports, and exhibits for conceptual designs, master plans, client meetings, field visits, and community workshops. You will engage in site analysis and design concept development, creating digital and hand-drawn plans, sections, elevations, and perspectives. Additionally, you will be responsible for design development, preparing contract documents using CAD, and producing project renderings and report graphics. This is a hybrid role with preferred office locations in Sacramento, San Francisco, Irvine, Reno, Las Vegas, or Nashville, with potential for fully remote work depending on experience.
