About the Role

This position is essential for maintaining the highest standards of sanitation and safety within our rendering plant environment. As a key member of the operations team, you will ensure that production areas, restrooms, break rooms, and common spaces remain clean, organized, and compliant with strict food safety regulations. Your work directly supports a safe working environment for all team members by managing waste disposal, sanitizing high-touch surfaces, and maintaining cleaning supplies.

The role requires a hands-on approach in a dynamic industrial setting. You will be responsible for routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, as well as specialized duties like cleaning windows and maintaining production areas. Success in this role depends on your ability to follow instructions independently, manage your time effectively, and adapt to the physical demands of the job, including working in varying temperatures and loud environments.

Working Conditions

This position is performed in a rendering plant environment where you will be exposed to noise, odors, and varying temperatures. The work is physically demanding, requiring regular lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. You will frequently encounter wet and humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and high, precarious places. Occasional exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat is also part of the role. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required at all times to ensure safety.
