The Johnson Studio is a premier interior design firm within Cooper Carry, dedicated to crafting exceptional spaces for luxury hospitality, food and beverage, and multi-family projects. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, well-coordinated design solutions that meet rigorous standards for quality, budget, and timeline. We foster a collaborative environment where creativity thrives alongside technical precision, ensuring every project reflects the unique vision of our clients while upholding the firm's reputation for excellence.
As an Interior Designer, you will serve as a vital link between client vision and design execution, working closely with the project team from the initial concept through to completion. This role is designed for a creative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment managing complex, multi-project portfolios. You will be responsible for producing complete and accurate documentation, developing millwork details, and curating material palettes that align with the overall design direction.
Your day-to-day involves representing the interiors team during client presentations to translate concepts into actionable design strategies. You will collaborate with purchasing agents to manage FF&A budgets and schedules, while assisting the Project Lead in program development. Beyond technical execution, you will play a key role in mentoring junior designers, contributing to marketing efforts, and maintaining the highest standards of design quality and professional integrity.
Candidates selected for this role will be expected to demonstrate strong presentation skills and a proven track record of leading teams to meet project objectives. The selection process focuses on identifying individuals who can balance creative vision with the organizational discipline required to deliver on time and within scope.
Cooper Carry is an Affirmative Action/EEO Employer that values workplace diversity. We consider applications regardless of age, race, gender, religion, color, sex, national origin, genetic information, sexual orientation, veteran status, disability, or other status protected by law. We are committed to providing a drug-free workplace and fostering an inclusive atmosphere where all employees can succeed.
