About the Role
RRI is seeking an experienced Insurance Loss Control Consultant to join the team throughout its coverage territory. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct commercial insurance inspections and complete insurance underwriting reports. These reports are critical for insurance companies to properly underwrite insurance policies.
As an Insurance Loss Control Consultant, you will drive to various locations to visually observe the interior and exterior of facilities. You will take photos, note business operations, and determine insurance exposures to identify potential improvements. Your findings will be documented in insurance underwriting reports via the company's online website. Work is assigned on a daily or weekly basis, depending on your location.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleRecord onsite observations, measurements, and photos per carrier requirements
- check_circlePerform commercial insurance loss control inspections at client sites
- check_circleComplete and submit insurance underwriting reports via online portal
- check_circleUpload inspection results, photos, and prepared diagrams
- check_circleCoordinate inspection schedules with insured representatives
- check_circleCommunicate regularly with Field Manager to optimize efficiency
Requirements
- verifiedMinimum 2 years’ experience working with other Loss Control Service Providers or Major Insurance Carriers
- verifiedComprehensive understanding of commercial insurance lines - primarily Property, General Liability and Inland Marine
- verifiedAbility to identify building construction and ISO classes
- verifiedBroad understanding of NFPA codes
- verifiedSolid communication and time management skills
- verifiedExceptional writing ability, organizational skills and computer skills
- verifiedAbility to work from home with a PC, high-speed internet connection and a cell/smart phone
- verifiedAn automobile and valid driver’s license, with acceptable driving record
- verifiedAbility to climb a ladder up to 6 feet
- verifiedDigital camera or smart phone with picture capability
- verifiedMeasuring wheel, or similar tool, and camera pole
