About AMBA
For over 65 years, AMBA has proudly served retired public servants by offering access to supplemental insurance benefits they may not receive through traditional retirement plans. We partner with 450+ associations across all 50 states and Canada — representing over 44 million members, including educators, first responders, veterans, healthcare workers, trade professionals, and more.
In North Carolina, AMBA is the exclusive endorsed provider for the North Carolina Retired Governmental Employees Association and the Professional Educators of North Carolina, giving us direct access to their members and communities.
Why Partner with AMBA
Purpose-Driven Work Help protect the retirement and financial well-being of those who spent their careers serving others.
Entrepreneurial Freedom You manage your schedule, but consistent full-time effort is essential to succeed in this role. Leverage our structured processes, support, and brand reputation to grow your business.
Proven Systems & Leads We provide leads at no cost to you through exclusive association access. While outbound calling is still a big part of the role, persistence and follow-up drive results. You will have access to experienced local leadership, a dedicated Sales Support team, and onboarding specialists committed to your success.
About the Role
As an Insurance Benefits Representative, you will meet virtually or in person with association members to understand their needs and recommend supplemental insurance solutions. This role involves educating clients through one-on-one consultations, webinars, and group presentations.
You will use a consultative sales approach to help retirees protect their health, income, and legacy — including options like Fixed Indexed Annuities for long-term retirement planning. The position is designed for those with an entrepreneurial mindset and a self-starter attitude who desire to grow their income and independence with a performance-driven model.
We offer comprehensive training from licensing support to ongoing sales coaching, product education, and business planning. This program sets you up for long-term success — whether you're new to insurance or ready to launch your career. You will stay engaged with ongoing training, mentorship, and business planning to continuously improve your performance.
