About the Role

WAGI is seeking a Part-time Infusion Intake Specialist to join our team. This role is primarily remote, working from home to support our clinics and endoscopy centers. The Infusion Intake Specialist serves as a critical liaison, verifying patient benefits and insurance information prior to scheduled infusions or injections. The position ensures that all necessary authorizations are obtained and in place at the time of service, while also obtaining specialty injection medication authorizations for IBD patients as prescribed by our providers.

  • A home work environment that allows you to work free from distractions, background noise, and potential hazards (including tripping and electrical hazards).
  • Ability to secure and protect WAGI-supplied computer, phone, and systems, ensuring the protection of Personal Health Information (PHI).
  • While this position provides the benefit of telework, it follows a standard schedule based on the hours of operation.

Training is conducted onsite in Tacoma, WA.
