This Mid-level Systems Engineer position is central to engineering modernization and integration practices, specifically focusing on Digital Engineering and Agile at Scale for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), National System of Geospatial-intelligence (NSG), and Allied System of Geospatial-intelligence (ASG). You will employ a multi-discipline approach to ensure timely and accurate GEOINT across these critical systems.
In this role, you will partner with the government to capture and translate mission and customer needs into robust systems and capability requirements. Your day-to-day involves conducting planning and analysis to automate or improve existing systems, reviewing cloud service capabilities, and managing workflow limitations. You will develop solution designs based on new technologies and assist in strategic technical planning, project management, and risk management. A key part of your mission is to mentor Junior Engineers, helping them develop essential skill sets in requirements engineering, solutions engineering, and system integration.

Working knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools, and languages. Working knowledge of Software Development Frameworks. Documented work experience in the field of geospatial intelligence. Membership or active participation in professional organizations such as ACSM, ASCE, ASPRS, OGC, SAREM, or USGIF. Working knowledge of photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, information sciences, geographic information systems, geomatics, or related fields. Demonstrated knowledge of the current NSG/ASG and NRO enterprises.
