About the Role
We are seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of a classified computing environment. In this role, you will design, integrate, and promote security features, products, and procedures to ensure operational system authorization and accreditation within the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and associated policies.
You will act as a vital link in our security ecosystem, ensuring systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in strict accordance with security plans. Your day-to-day involves executing continuous monitoring strategies, analyzing and protecting user activity monitoring data, and verifying the implementation of delegated aspects of the system security program. You will also serve as a member of the Configuration Control Board (CCB) when designated, ensuring audit records are collected and analyzed correctly and that system recovery processes restore security features properly.
