Calibre is an employee-owned mission-focused solutions and digital transformation company. We are dedicated to delivering high-impact strategies that secure and modernize critical infrastructure for our clients.
We are seeking a strategic leader to own the cybersecurity of a program, organization, system, or enclave. This role exists to bridge the gap between technical security operations and executive decision-making. You will be responsible for acquiring and managing the necessary resources—including leadership support, financial capital, and key security personnel—to support IT security goals and reduce overall organizational risk.
In this position, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior management, such as the Chief Information Officer (CIO). You will communicate the value of IT security across all organizational levels, advise on risk levels and security posture, and provide cost-benefit analyses for security programs, policies, and systems. Your work will ensure that cybersecurity requirements are integrated into continuity planning and that protection and detection capabilities align with the organization-level cybersecurity architecture.
Your day-to-day involves leading the enterprise information security architecture (EISA), overseeing the information security budget, staffing, and contracting, and managing the monitoring of security data sources to maintain situational awareness. You will also lead the development of the enterprise continuity of operations program, ensuring mission assurance and robust supply chain risk management. Additionally, you will interface with external organizations, including law enforcement and inspector generals, to ensure accurate dissemination of incident and Computer Network Defense information.
Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI clearance and hold a CISSP-ISSMP or GSLC - IAT, IAM, or IASAE Level 3 certification. The selection process will focus on verifying these critical qualifications alongside your strategic experience in cybersecurity leadership.
