Key Responsibilities
check_circleComplete daily preventive maintenance work orders and communicate completion status
check_circleTroubleshoot and repair problems with all site equipment including production, facilities, and utilities
check_circleLocate electrical and mechanical faults using test equipment and practical knowledge
check_circleRepair and replace defective electrical and mechanical equipment in a timely manner
check_circleTroubleshoot and repair 480v electrical and electronic control circuits for AC/DC motors
check_circleTroubleshoot control systems PLC hardware and software
check_circleRecommend necessary parts for repairs and maintenance
check_circleService pumps, piping, steam regulators, steam control valves, and related equipment
check_circleAssist with concept and design of new equipment and equipment modification projects
check_circleIdentify and eliminate root cause failures of equipment
check_circleDiagnose, analyze, and repair electronic, electro-mechanical, and instrumentation equipment
check_circleInstall, repair, adjust, and calibrate measuring, recording, and controlling equipment
Requirements
verifiedAt least 5 years' experience as an industrial maintenance technician
verifiedFormal electrical apprenticeship or two-year degree preferred
verifiedAdvanced knowledge of motor control systems, PLCs, and communications systems preferred
verifiedWorking knowledge of production and support equipment and related controls
verifiedAbility to read and interpret prints, assembly drawings, and electrical schematics
verifiedExperienced with NFPA70E guidelines and standards
Nice to Have
A formal electrical apprenticeship or two-year degree. Advanced knowledge of motor control systems (drives/inverters), PLCs, and communications systems.
