As an Imaging Technologist at St. Mark's Hospital, you will perform professional duties involved in a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. This role requires latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. You will be responsible for providing patients with proper procedures that yield excellent quality images to assist physicians in diagnosing conditions or health complaints.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include performing a variety of imaging procedures in the radiology department, as well as portable exams and C-arm procedures throughout the hospital. You will schedule, plan, implement, and complete service requests while providing a friendly and compassionate environment that aligns with our "Care Like Family" mission. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of growth and development across various patient groups and a commitment to staying up to date with current techniques and procedures.
