We are looking for a positive and personable individual to join our team as an IDD Certified Medication Technician. This role offers a satisfying and fun opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of the people we serve. As a Certified Medication Technician, you will specialize in administering medication to supported individuals, ensuring they receive their prescribed medications accurately and safely. You will be a key part of the care team, collaborating with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate individual care and participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing medication safety and patient outcomes.
To join our team, candidates must complete a comprehensive pre-employment screening process. This includes a criminal background check, name checks in relevant registries (OIG exclusions, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities), drug testing, education verification, and proof of employment history or references. For positions requiring driving, proof of a valid driver's license, insurance, and vehicle is also required.
