GovCIO is seeking a Human Centered Design Analyst with clinical experience to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in evaluating and improving clinical workflows and user experiences. This role is pivotal in understanding how clinicians and staff interact with digital health solutions, including AI-enabled capabilities, and translating those insights into actionable improvements that enhance usability, efficiency, and the overall provider experience.
You will work under the guidance of the Human-Centered Design Lead to gather user insights, analyze complex workflows, and contribute to experience design and evaluation efforts. The position focuses on real-world clinical settings, assessing tools such as ambient scribes and other digital health innovations to ensure they meet the needs of the VA community.
This is a fully remote position based in the United States. While the role is primarily virtual, occasional travel may be required to support stakeholder engagement and conduct on-site workflow observations.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or commensurate experience. A critical requirement for this position is the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance or higher.
Interested candidates should apply directly through the GovCIO career portal. Please ensure your application highlights your experience in Human-Centered Design, qualitative research methods, and any background in federal healthcare environments.
