This position serves as an expert-level clinician responsible for supporting and directing patient care services. You will be the single point of contact for caregivers, physicians, and others regarding patient transfer or placement. Your role ensures the overall throughput of patients is managed in a safe, efficient manner while optimizing the utilization of resources, including caregivers, equipment, and supplies.
As a leader, you will promote patient satisfaction by demonstrating extraordinary service to ensure quality care is delivered in accordance with Providence Health & Services' mission, vision, and values. You possess the authority to make leadership decisions and provide direction and oversight for operational issues across all hospital departments on behalf of Administration during your assigned shift. You will also work in collaboration with the Administrator on Call to address after-hours issues.
